China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) held a seminar discussing China’s current economic situation on October 20th, 2019 in Beijing. The event, which brought together a group of senior economic experts as well as policymaking officials and experienced market participants, was centered on CF40 Q3 2019 Macroeconomic Policy Report.
The seminar started with two keynote speeches by Zhong Wei, CF40 Member and Director of Finance Research Center of Beijing Normal University, and Zhang Bin, CF40 Senior Fellow, on China’s real estate market and macroeconomic policy, followed by comments from Ji Zhihong, CF40 Member and Executive Vice President at China Construction Bank, Gao Shanwen, CF40 Academic Committee Member and Chief Economist at Essence Securities, and Zhang Xiaohui, CF40 Non-Resident Senior Fellow and former Assistant Governor of the People’s Bank of China.
Participants of the seminar also include Xiao Gang, CF40 Non-Resident Senior Fellow and former Chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission; Wu Ge, CF40 member and Chief Economist of Huarong Securities; Liao Min, CF40 Executive Council member, Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission and Vice Minister of Finance; Zhang Qiguang, Director of the property market supervision department at the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and Deng Zhiyi, President of China Orient Asset Management among others.
