China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) released a report on China’s economic performance in the fourth quarter of 2018 at a seminar on February 23rd, 2019 in Beijing.
The seminar began with two keynote speeches – “Outlook for China’s Economy and Macro Policies in 2019” and “Establishing a New Mechanism of Credit Expansion in China” by Gao Shanwen, Member of CF40 Academic Committee and chief economist at the Essence Securities, and Zhang Bin, CF40 Senior Fellow, followed comments from Huang Yiping, Chairman of CF40 Academic Committee and Deputy Dean of National School of Development at Peking University, and Yang Weimin, CF40 Guest Member and Deputy Director of Committee for Economic Affairs of the National Committee of CPPCC.
Participants of this event also included Xu Xianchun, CF40 Advisor and former Deputy Commissioner of National Bureau of Statistics, Zhong Wei, CF40 Member and Director of Financial Research Center, Beijing Normal University, and Wu Ge, CF40 Member and Chief Economist and Assistant President of Changjiang Securities among others.
CF40 Secretary-General Wang Haiming chaired the meeting.
