China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) held a seminar discussing China’s macroeconomic situation on November 4th, 2018 in Beijing. The event, which brought together a group of senior economic experts as well as policymaking officials and experienced market participants, was centered on CF40’s Q3 Macroeconomic Policy Report.
The event started with two keynote speeches on China’s fiscal policies by Liu Shangxi, CF40 Member and President of Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences, and Zhang Bin, CF40 Senior Fellow, followed by comments from Huang Yiping, Chairman of CF40 Academic Committee and Deputy Dean of the National School of Development, Peking University, Lu Lei, CF40 Member and Deputy Administrator, State Administration of Foreign Exchange, and Zhang Xiaohui, CF40 Advisor and former Assistant Governor of the People’s Bank of China.
Participants also included Sun Tianqi, CF40 Member and Chief Accountant of State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Wang Yi, CF40 Member and Director-General of the Department of Finance of the Ministry of Finance, and Wang Xin, CF40 Member and Director-General of the Currency Gold and Silver Bureau of the People’s Bank of China among others.
CF40 Secretary-General Wang Haiming moderated the seminar.
