China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) held a seminar discussing China’s macroeconomic situation on July 29, 2018 in Beijing. The event which brought together a group of senior economic experts as well as policymaking officials and experienced market participants, was centered on CF40’s Q2 Macroeconomic Policy Report.
The event started with a keynote speech by Zhu Jun, CF40 Member and Director-General of the International Department of the People’s Bank of China, on China’s financial opening, and a presentation on the report by Zhang Bin, CF40 Senior Fellow, followed by comments from Cai Fang, CF40 Advisor and Vice-President of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Xie Ping, Vice Chairman of CF40 Executive Council, and Zhang Xiaohui, CF40 Guest Member and former Assistant Governor of the People’s Bank of China.
Participants also included Gao Shanwen, CF40 Member and Chief Economist of Essence Securities, Sun Tianqi, CF40 Member and Chief Accountant of State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Wang Yi, CF40 Member and Director-General of the Department of Finance of the Ministry of Finance, and Wu Ge, CF40 Member and Chief Economist and Assistant President of Huarong Securities among others.
CF40 Secretary-General Wang Haiming moderated the seminar.
