China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) held a seminar discussing China’s macroeconomic situation on January 28, 2018 in Beijing. The event which brought together a group of senior economic experts as well as policymaking officials and experienced market participants, was centered on CF40’s Q4 Macroeconomic Policy Report.
The event started with two keynote speeches by Zhang Jianhua, President of Huaxia Bank, and Liu Xiaochun, Chairman of the Executive Council of Shanghai Finance Institute and President of China Zheshang Bank, and a presentation on the report by Zhang Bin, CF40 Senior Fellow, followed by comments from Wang Yi, CF40 Guest Member and Director-General of the Department of Finance of the Ministry of Finance, and Ji Zhihong, CF40 Member and Director-General of Financial Market Department of People's Bank of China.
Participants also included Xu Xianchun, CF40 Advisor and Former Deputy Commissioner of National Bureau of Statistics, Huang Haizhou, CF40 Member and Managing Director of China International Capital Corporation Limited, and Zhong Wei, Director of Financial Research Center at Beijing Normal University among others.
CF40 Secretary-General Wang Haiming moderated the seminar.
