The China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) held an online seminar centered on the ongoing novel coronavirus outbreak and policy responses across countries on March 29.
Bai Chong’en, Member of CF40 Academic Committee and Dean of School of Economics and Management in Tsinghua University, Liu Qiao, Dean of Guanghua School of Management in Peking University, and Liang Hong, CF40 Member and Chief Economist of China International Capital Corporation Limited gave the keynote speeches. The speeches were followed by Zhang Tao, CF40 advisor and Deputy Managing Director of International Monetary Fund, Zhang Xiaohui, CF40 Non-Resident Senior Fellow and former Assistant Governor at the People’s Bank of China, Liu Shangxi, CF40 Member and President of Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences, and Gao Shanwen, Member of CF40 Academic Committee and Chief Economist at Essence Securities.
Participants also included Xiao Gang, CF40 Non-Resident Senior Fellow and former Chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission, Xu Xianchun, CF40 Advisor and former Deputy Commissioner, National Bureau of Statistics, and Zhong Wei, CF40 Member and Director of Financial Research Center at Beijing Normal University among others.
The seminar was moderated by Wang Haiming, CF40 Secretary-General.
