On December 15, 2019, China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) held a closed-door seminar titled Should Macroeconomic Policies be More Expansionary to Maintain Growth. Guests at the seminar shared their observations on the potential growth rate, macroeconomic policy options and challenges China's economy will face in 2020.
During the meeting, Yu Yongding, CF40 Advisor and Academician of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, delivered a keynote speech. Zhang Xiaohui, CF40 non-resident senior fellow and Dean of PBC School of Finance in Tsinghua University; Lu Feng, CF40 Advisor and Professor of National School of Development in Peking University; Liu Yuanchun, CF40 member and Vice President of Renmin University; Peng Wensheng, CF40 member and Global Chief Economist of Everbright Securities; and Zhang Xiaojing, CF40 invited member and Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, exchanged views on the topics.
