The China Finance 40 Forum (CF40), the Euro 50 Group, the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and the Peterson Institute of International Economics (PIIE) jointly held a conference on November 8th, 2019 in New York focusing on how to cope with the vulnerabilities of the global financial system. The event featured viewpoints of academics, politicians and financial practitioners from China, North America and the European Union.
On the evening of the day, a dinner function was held for further exchanges. Mr. John C. Williams, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York talked about monetary policy and systematic financial risk among other issues at the dinner.
