On October 15, 2016, CF40 held a seminar on the topic of Insurance Asset Allocation Strategy and Risks amid "Asset Shortage".
The seminar kicked off with speeches by Miao Jianmin, Chairman of People's Insurance Company (Group) of China and Chen Dongsheng, Chairman and CEO of Tai Kang Life Insurance titled New Challenges Facing Insurance Asset Allocation, and Insurance Asset Allocation Strategy and Risks amid "Asset Shortage" respectively. The speeches were followed by comments from Tu Guangshao, President of China Investment Corporation and Zhao Wei, CF40 Council member and President of China Re Capital Management. Attendees of the seminar then had exchanges on topics such as the risks facing insurance asset allocation, and formulation of diversified investment portfolios. At the end of the seminar, Chen Wenhui, CF40 Executive Council member and Vice Chairman of China Insurance Regulatory Commission made summary remarks.
Also attending the seminar were business leaders from the insurance sector and officials from regulatory departments.
The seminar was moderated by Wang Haiming, CF40 Secretary-General.
