In October, 2016, the China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) led a delegation to the US for its annual exchange program with the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE).
On October 5th, CF40 and PIIE held the 2nd China Economic Forum in Washington D.C. The conference consisted of three sessions, focusing on China's RMB exchange regime reform, SOE reform and China's role in global trade and investment. Regulators, academics and leading experts from the finance industry from China and the US attended this conference to discuss China's economic situation and financial reform.
During their stay in D.C., the CF40 delegation also paid visits to institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, the Federal Reserve, US Department of the Treasury, Council of Economic Advisers, and the National Security Council.
