The China Finance 40 Forum held the 95th Youth Forum with the theme "NPL valuation and debt restructuring" on March 26, 2017 in Beijing.
Sun Xuegong, CF40 Guest Speaker and Deputy Director-General of the Department of Fiscal and Financial Affairs at the National Development and Reform Commission made the welcome remarks.
During the first half of the seminar, Andrew Koo, Partner of Greater China Corporate Restructuring at Ernst & Young and Wilson Pang, Partner and Head of Special Situations Team at KPMG talked about valuation of debt-to-equity swaps, NPL valuation and disposals. Zhang Minghe, Vice General Manager of Credit Approval Department at China Construction Bank, and Zhang Donghui, Vice General Manager of Equity Management Department at China Cinda Asset Management Corporation commented on the speeches.
The second half of the seminar focused on debt restructuring in the U.S. and suggestions for improving China's regulatory framework and policies, where Tim Guo, General Director of Reconstruction Service Department at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Paul Austin and Edward Zhou, both from DAC Management delivered keynote speeches. Li Fu'an, CF40 Member and Chairman of Bohai Bank, and Zhong Wei, CF40 Member and Director of Finance Research Center at Beijing Normal University made comments.
CF40 Senior Fellow Zhang Bin chaired the seminar.
