On March 22, 2022, CF40 and PIIE held the 6th Young Economists Forum with the theme of How to Divide the Pie: Income Disparity and Policy Options.
Moderated by Jin Keyu, CF40 Invited Member and Associate Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics, the event featured two keynote speeches by Cai Fang, Member of CF40 Academic Committee and Chief Expert of National Think Tank at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and David Dollar, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. Cai talked about how China could narrow the income gap and achieve common prosperity, while Dollar offered reinforcing points of view.
