On December 15, 2019, China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) held a closed-door seminar titled Taxation of China’s Financial Industry and International Comparison.
The seminar started with a keynote speech by Wang Yi, CF40 Member and Director-General of the Department of Finance of the Ministry of Finance, following which Xu Shanda, CF40 Invited Guest and former Deputy Head of the State Taxation Administration, Ji Zhihong, CF40 Member and Vice-President of China Construction Bank, and Zhao Yulong, CF40 Invited Guest and Head of the Finance and Accounting Department of China Insurance Regulatory Commission gave their comments.
Participants of this event also included Liao Min, Member of CF40 Academic Committee and Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission and Vice Minister of Finance, Zhu Jun, CF40 Member and Director-General of the International Department at the People’s Bank of China, and Zhang Chenghui, CF40 Member and Former Director-General of Research Institute of Finance at the Development Research Center of the State Council among others.
CF40 Secretary-General Wang Haiming moderated the seminar.
