On July 28, 2019, China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) held a closed-door seminar on digital economy, fiscal and monetary policies.
At the seminar, Peng Wensheng, CF40 Member and Vice President of the Research Institute at China Everbright Group and Chief Economist at Everbright Securities, and Guo Kai, CF40 Member and Deputy Director-General of the Monetary Policy Department of the People's Bank of China, first delivered speeches on "Digital Economy: Rethinking the Role of Finance" and "Rethinking the Boundary of Monetary and Fiscal Policies", respectively.
Following the speeches, participants including Xiao Gang, CF40 Non-Resident Senior Fellow, Miao Yanliang, CF40 Member and Chief Economist of the Investment Center of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, and Liu Shangxi, CF40 Member and President of the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences, shared their views on the topics.
