On December 1, 2018, the Shanghai Financial Institute (SFI) hosted a closed-door seminar themed Development of China’s Payment Industry Now and Beyond.
The seminar started with a keynote speech by Wen Xinxiang, CF40 Member and Director-General of Payment and Settlement Department of the People’s Bank of China, following which Xu Zhong, CF40 Member and Director-General of the Research Bureau of the People's Bank of China, Wan Jianhua, Chairman of Council of SFI and President of Association of Shanghai Internet Financial Industry, Ge Huayong, SFI Invited Guest and Chairman of China UnionPay, and Eric Jing, Member of SFI Executive Council and Chairman and CEO of Ant Financial gave their comments.
Wang Haiming, Executive President of SFI and CF40 Secretary-General, moderated the event.
