On October 28, 2017, Shang Finance Institute (SFI) held a seminar on the statutory digital currency system and supervision of digital finance.
The seminar kicked off with a keynote speech by Yao Qian, SFI Academic Committee member and Director-General of PBOC’s Research Institute on Digital Currency, titled What Kind of Legal Digital Currency Do We Need. Then Wen Xinxiang, SFI Guest Speaker and Secretary-General of PBOC’s Monetary Policy Committee and Zhong Wei, Director of the Finance Research Center at Beijing Normal University gave their comments.
The seminar was moderated by Wang Haiming, CF40 Secretary-General.
